Talk on Awareness and Education Approaches for Zero Waste Communities in Africa

An educational dimension in waste management initiatives is critical since it encourages people to become environmentally conscious and to induce behavioural change towards sustainable waste and resource management.

The ISWA YPG Education and Awareness working group in partnership with the UN-Habitat’s Waste Wise Cities Program and African Clean Cities Platform are launched the flagship program ‘”the call for best practices on awareness and education initiatives for creating zero-waste communities”.

This Webinar is an opportunity for the best call practices from the African region to share their experiences and contribute to a larger knowledge-sharing effort that will help other cities and communities around the world create more sustainable and waste-free environments.
