CIRSOL – 1st international conference on solid waste

Looking to the future through the lens of sustainable development, the First International Conference on Solid Waste (CIRSOL) was born, held in Recife, capital of Pernambuco, Brazil. Coordinated by 16 highly relevant institutions that, together, will promote the debate on Solid Waste Management and its impacts on climate change, CIRSOL-Recife/PE will leave an important legacy towards a more sustainable planet.

For three days 16 – 18 March, the theme “The generation of solid waste and its impacts on climate change” will be highlighted from a diversified program developed in the in person and virtual modality, with online transmission.

Following the scale of its organizers, the conference will also have a significant representation among the participants, bringing together the public sector, the productive and service sector, the academic community and civil society, among others.
