Hello, I am Mostafa, the new technical coordinator. I am excited to join ISWA and contribute to our shared mission to advance sustainable and professional waste management practices globally.
I am from Cairo, Egypt, and hold a PhD (2021) and an MSc (2013), both in Environmental Engineering, from Ain Shams University, Egypt. I also hold an MSc (2015) in Environmental Studies of Cities and Sustainability from Aalborg University, Denmark.
With 14 years of international academic and professional experience in waste management, my journey has taken me across various roles in research, teaching, training, and consulting. These experiences have deepened my expertise and strengthened my passion for waste management, resource recovery, and the circular economy.
Together, I am confident we can continue to drive change and make a positive impact on our environment and communities. I look forward to working with you and to the exciting opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
