Committed to the principles of the circular economy, ECONWARD aims to integrate the waste and renewable energy sectors, delivering social, environmental, and economic benefits. The company boasts a team of highly qualified professionals and emphasizes patent development, filing four new patents in 2020. In recognition of its research achievements, ECONWARD received the National Energy Award from the Spanish government in 2022.

The reason why we want to join ISWA is basically that we operate in the field of solid waste management, and are leading the technological development for organics waste recovery. Our company is based both in the US and Spain, and although we are members of SWANA and ATEGRUS, we want to assume a relevant role in ISWA. Last year we provided two presentations and a poster in Muscat (Oman), and the experience was very good, we firmly believe we can be a game changer in the current waste treatment situation worldwide.
