Happy Holidays from ISWA!

Dec 17, 2021 | ISWA blog, ISWA news

Dear members,

Another year is almost over and it’s time to celebrate the Holiday Season. It might have been a turbulent and challenging year, during which we kept accomodating to new patterns and ways of living, but we are still here, ready to open a new cycle, hoping it’s a better, healthier and easier one.

Your continued support throughout 2021 was very appreciated and counted much for what we’ve been able to achieve. I’d like to express my personal and sincere gratitude for your companionship over this year.

For 2022 we are ready to keep the pace working towards our common goal: make sound and professional waste management a reality all over the world. An important first step has been reached during this year with the resolution considering the access to a clean and healthy environment as a universal human right. Other major achievements to come.

Let’s use the opportunity to communicate, mobilize, engage, raise awareness, and create the movement we believe we must deliver: sustainable waste management is crucial to ensure a better world for all. I’m sure we can make the difference. Happy Holidays! Wishing you and your family a New Year full of health and happiness.

Cheers,
Carlos RV Silva Filho

Dear members,

With sincere appreciation I look back to all your own hard work promoting and developing sustainable and professional waste management worldwide, not easy in these days. On top of that I admire your contribution and dedication to ISWA.

Despite current circumstances I think we can be proud looking back what we all achieved in 2021 with our collective goal of improving and bettering waste management systems and practices worldwide.

Closing the year is always a combination of reflection, family time and slowly working towards an energetic start of the new year ahead.

For now I wish you a wonderful time with your family and friends, enjoy a well deserved rest. Have a healthy and happy holiday season! As soon as the pandemic is going to end, we as General Secretariat are going to welcome you with open arms with a promise to offer the best of our services again. Hopefully in person soon.

Kindest regards,
Marc
